About the Role
1. Help patients with activities of daily living (ADLs)
2. Transfers and ambulation
3. Assisting with bathing, grooming, and hair washing necessary for personal hygiene
4. Medication reminders through providing reminders or cues to take medication.
5. Dressing or undressing of the client(s)
6. Assistance with eating, meal preparation.
7. Monitoring vitals and reporting to the nursing and medical staff.
8. Redirection and intervention for behavior, including observation and monitoring
9. Incidental household services that are an integral part of a personal service plan in the above items
10. Appropriate reporting of changes in client status.


Requirements

Eighteen (18) years of age
-
Be able to provide covered PSA services according to the person’s PSA Service plan.

Meets the training requirements in accordance with state and federal laws.
-
Must be able to read and write in English.
