About the Role
1. Assist with Toileting functions
2. Provide range-of-motion exercises for poorly mobile patients..
3. Collect various kinds of specimen samples from patients.
4. Administer medications to patients..
5. Provide wound care.
6. Assistance with eating, meal preparation and grocery shopping
7. Provide supervision to unlicensed personnel, such as nursing aides.
8. Ensure that medical equipment is functioning properly.
9. Redirection and intervention for behavior, including observation and monitoring
10. Perform intake and output monitoring.
11. Appropriate reporting of changes in client status.


Requirements

Eighteen (18) years of age
-
Be able to provide covered PSA services according to the person’s PSA Service plan.

Meets the training requirements in accordance with state and federal laws.

Must be able to read and write in English.

Must pass the National Council Licensure Examination for Practical Nurses. (NCLEX-PN)
